Large animal veterinary services are being increasingly provided by women veterinarians in practice environments that are more challenging by the day. Cowgirl CE Retreats was founded to provide educational and personal support to these dedicated, hardworking veterinarians.  Our retreats offer a forum to obtain veterinary continuing education credits as well as opportunities to network.  Topics include business management, comparative large animal medicine, navigating childcare, avenues to promote efficiency or decrease stress, etc. We continue to promote networking and support throughout the year for all our previous attendees.  Our goal is for our retreats to enable these veterinarians to utilize their new knowledge and support system to be happier and healthier at work and at home.
